Ford Performance, in collaboration with RTR Vehicles and Vaughn Gittin Jr., has unveiled the F-150 Lightning Switchgear, an electric vehicle (EV) demonstrator that’s redefining the off-road experience. This isn’t your typical F-150; it’s a machine built to conquer the wilderness with electric power.

Electrifying Off-Road Experience

The F-150 Lightning Switchgear stands out with its silence; it’s all about the power without the roar. Equipped with a unique suspension and 37-inch NITTO Ridge Grappler tires, this truck is designed for both on-road agility and off-road prowess.

High-Performance Collaboration

This innovative EV is the brainchild of Ford Performance, Vaughn Gittin Jr., and RTR Vehicles. The Switchgear features a double-wishbone suspension in front, a multilink independent suspension in the back, and 3-inch-diameter FOX shocks for superior control and ground clearance.

Debut at King of the Hammers

Set to make its public debut at the King of the Hammers in Johnson Valley, California, the F-150 Lightning Switchgear is a testament to Ford’s commitment to making EVs exciting and versatile.
